Some of the advantages of having a ‘Neopets’ is that it can make kids more responsible because they’re learning that living creatures (which they think Neopets are) need attention and care to live.
The site could help kids financially and consumerism for the future and how to live a capitalist country by the point earnings, saving and spending.
Some of the disadvantages of the site are that the site may upset kids when their Neopet dies or they may get to addicted to virtual world instead their reality.
The indoctrinating of capitalism may cause the kids to be greedy with money.

The people who reads blogs are teenagers who wants to find out what other people are thinking and people with shared interest with them could help them realise that they are not alone in this world. The way that relates to 'it connectedness in the virtual world" is because people are communicating through the computer by blogs for other people to read instead of reality with friends.
I cannot find a blog about the September 11 bombing. Probably because it was quite a while ago now.

hypertext theory is a way of linking pictures and other parts of the sites or other websites to specific words or phrases. They are often used to attach further information to the corresponding words in your blog/site. By connecting to the virtual world (a.k.a blogging), you can utilize hyperlinks in an organised fashion to correspond extra information.This is much more efficient and beneficial than an ordinary diary!

High Score Education
Games, not school, are teaching kids to think.
After much money is spent, How does this correspond to the improvements of kids academic perofrmnace. They learn to memoriese, but they dont now how to actually think.
Kids learn from playing video games, which each ones powerfully teaches something different. Each game has some form element that it is teaching.
As kids are more focused in playing games, rather then their schoolwork, they aim to do better at the video games. The video games seeks a certain point of difficulty that is just outside your range. However, as you play you would eventually pass that line of difficulty and another more challenging event occurs in the game.
Schools try to avoid this frustration which is the reason why their work aren't as challenging, hence, kids aren't learning as much.
Most people are oblivious, and kids don't even realise they are learning because they are too focused in playing. However, there needs to be further research in this area to confirm this hypothesis.

Blog task 4
1. I think that ‘the medium is the message’ means that the links that you include in your blogs is the mian messages that you include in a blog. The links helps define your blog and at the same time make it interesting.
2. Marshall Mcluhan was a professor that was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, July 21, 1911. He kept on learning with his professors though he never wanted to be an academic yet he sort of became one. He was sort of like a writer and philosopher.
He made lots of quotes and one of the ones that i like is 'if it works it is obsolete'. I like it cause its sort of funny if you think about it the same way that i do. An example of this quote is that if you brought the best computer and as soon as you plug it in and find that it works, another computer has been invented that was better. So it is sort of hard to get the best of a certain thing. Another quote i like is "invention is the mother of necessities". I like it because i get it. Inventions is needed to develop our society and stuff. We need to invent more things to suit our needs. Another quote i like is "Tomorrow is our permanent address". This is good because it sort of makes you think. There is always going to be a tomorrow. And you dont know when it ends.

I think what Sinclair means about "It doesn’t guarantee you quality, and certainly not objectivity – but it does give a certain deep authenticity that most sites don’t have." is that BLogger.com doesn't let you make really good looking sites and it sort of lets you do whatever you want on it. However, the site is unique in its own way. It works differently than the other blogs.
It is sooooo easy to find a boring blog to me and it is so easy to find a good blog. However, i found some sites that are ok. These include this one. This site sort of looks boring but it is not as boring as most of them. It doesn't just use black fonts. Except the boring thing about this site is the whole heap of writing that it puts im. Another good thing that it includes is that it tells you that it was going to be boring.
This site looks sort of interesting when you just clicked into it. It has a pictures and it stays with one colour that isn't black. It doesn't keep a whole bunch of writing into one little bit but i wouldn't read it because i assume that it is boring stuff. This is because there is no pictures that corresponds to the paragraphs. But that is just me cause i dont like reading that much.

This blog is used in a form alike a diary entry where the person is able express and share her stories and thoughts about her day and reserve her most cherished moments. On the other hand, this blog is used to illustrate news and affairs of their interest from around the world.
